Abstract

Prestasi kerja seseorang pekerja sangat berkaitan dengan prestasi sesebuah syarikat. Prestasi kerja yang baik akan menyumbang kepada peningkatan prestasi syarikat. Kajian tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi kerja boleh menyumbang kepada peningkatan prestasi kerja. Kajian ini mengkaji hubungan antara keadilan penilaian prestasi dan kepuasan kerja dengan prestasi kerja. Responden terdiri daripada 80 orang pekerja daripada syarikat ternama pembuatan ubat-ubatan di Perak. Kajian ini dijalankan di syarikat tersebut disebabkan terdapat pengaduan dari pekerja tentang ketidakadilan dalam penilaian prestasi dan kekurangan kepuasan kerja. Data dikutip menggunakan borang soal selidik secara bersemuka. Analisis deskriptif pembolehubah menunjukkan tahap kepuasan kerja dan keadilan dalam penilaian prestasi adalah tinggi di kalangan responden kajian yang berbeza dengan jangkaan awal kajian. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan terhadap hubungan positif yang signifikan di antara keadilan penilaian prestasi dan kepuasan kerja dengan prestasi. Ini menunjukkan prestasi kerja dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh keadilan penilaian prestasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Semakin tinggi persepsi pekerja tentang keadilan dalam penilaian prestasi serta kepuasan kerja, maka semakin tinggi prestasi pekerja tersebut. Penemuan kajian ini akan dapat membantu pihak pengurusan syarikat memahami elemen-elemen penting yang boleh mempengaruhi prestasi kerja para pekerja dan seterusnya menjadikan pengurusan lebih efektif.
